THIS IS MY FIRST TIGER MUSKY. I CAUGHT IT AT PINEVIEW ON SATURDAY WITH JESS. BIGGEST FISH I'VE EVER CAUGHT. IT WAS ABOUT 40 INCHES LONG AND AROUND 25-30 POUNDS. LOTS OF FUN.

I am quoted in the Costco magazine talking about how much I love my food processor. You'll probably have to increase the size of the page to read it, or wait until your magazine comes in the mail if you're a Costco member.

Interestingly enough, I don't seem to be getting any blog traffic from it, but it's still kind of fun.

Kendyl Ruth Bibler

Kendyl Ruth Bibler graced us with her presence on August 24th at about 10am. She weighed 8lbs 14oz and was 21.5 inches long. She has a little infection and has to stay in the hospital for at least 7 days but she is doing great and responding to the antibiotics. She cant wait to meet everyone!!

EVERETT AND AMBER ARE GETTING MARRIED!!!


WOO HOO we are so excited to have Amber joining the family... It is kinda tricky timing with our house all torn up but they have chosen Sept. 19th, 2009 to tie the knot. Not much time I know ( and we have only known for about 10 days!) but we will do all we can to make it a very nice wedding. I hope as many of you can make it will come up. We will be having it at a beautiful ranch between here and Dubois and it will be very fun...

Happy Birthday Jon!!

Wish you could be fishing today for your birthday ( he is cutting HUGE holes in our basement walls as we speak for our new egress windows) We love you!!!! Maybe we can go fishing next year after the remodel is done. ( Oh yeah we have started our major remodel and we are moving out of our house in a week!! We Forgot the Birthday, But We'll Never Forget Her!

Just thinking about our lovely and generous mother. Her birthday was a few days ago , and although Pam and I talked about it, we missed the day on the blog. I know we all miss her and think of her often, but I still wanted to acknowledge the birthday, even if it was a bit late.

Elder Ostler update

Dear Family, Aug 10,09

This week was really busy it was cool to contact people from the members. The Webbs friend Sam is very sincere and we answered her questions and talk to her about the Book of Mormon. She has a great family to help her along that are great examples. Also we have been working with Josh a lot and he is coming along well he wore a suit to church it was neat to see a member gave him a tie tac. Also a part member family all came that was neat. Also on Sat. we are going to go to the Temple with the Matuszavichs I can't wait. Then we had a great time in Sesser and Christopher. In Sessor I bought a huge watermelon outside of town and hauled it 8 miles on my bike. This one guy in Christopher said he never met a missionary with a watermelon on his bike before. There is also a member who served his mission in Alaska and I said we have family up there. He said he had dinner at the Grose's. His name is Noah Webb. We just keep getting more and more busy and it is great. When you think things are going so great they just keep getting better.

Lilee Naomi Draper

Josh and Brooke are proud to announce their new arrival! This little girl weighed 7 lbs. 7 oz. and was 20'' long. Lilee was born August 7th at 10:35 pm. She is darling! She is so tiny and we all love to squish her! Up next, Nicole and Ben's number two!

I'm within weeks of the house being done now, and am planning a big party, tentatively scheduled for September 12. Save that date, more details to come!

No, it didn't snow in Venice. I dug back to one of my favorite pictures of Bradley, eating a Dr Pepper snowball in Utah! I wish that today for his birthday he could be enjoying such frivolity, but no, he's off at the school trying to single-handedly whip that campus into shape. I do hope you have a wonderful birthday today. And many many many many more. We love you.

PS: He does have some pretty remarkable birthday company: Our President, Barack Obama!

This is for Kara, and any of the rest of you Denny women who might be fans of Pioneer Woman Cooks. I know she has a lot of fans. She's on the left in this photo, taken at a food blogger dinner in Chicago. I met her about two years ago and when I saw her this time, she rushed up to me and said "Kalyn's Kitchen!" So I guess I'm pretty cool. (Ha Ha.)

Seriously though, she was very nice and friendly. And I did meet Marlboro Man too!

She is cheerful and sweet, with a sunny disposition...most of the time. She loves to paint nails, play with her friends, and is very easy to get along with since she loves everyone right from the start.
