Three Cheers for Grandma Howell!

Just had to share this picture from Facebook.  So proud of you Janet.  What a tough year for all the Howell family, but the love shines through in this photo.  Love you all and wishing you good years ahead.  (And I think I could name all those darling kids, but it would take me a minute to think of some of them!)

Superbowl Party 2013 at Mark and Lisa's House

(From Facebook.) Calling all Dennys and Drapers and Willeys and Howells and Stouffers and Clarks and Ostlers and all other Family Friends that party with us for Superbowl!! Feb. 3rd, 4:30 Kickoff!

Dip the chocolate strawberries! Fry the won tons! Wrap the little piggies in a blanket! How about Shrimp salad or dunford donuts? Any of these sound good? Maybe Five Star Crab Cakes from Chesapeake Bay or World Famous Clam Chowder from Fishermans Wharf!! Whatever makes your mouth water, it will all be here! Just one rule, check your diets at the door and hit the gym on Monday. No exceptions!! Oh ya, and wear your favorite team colors for the costume contest!! There will be a prize!!

San Francisco 49ers or Baltimore Ravens? Who cares? I come for the food, the fun, but most of all, the family. Wait, I live here. ;)

Additional entertainment this year will be the nine ball tournament and half time hot-tubbing w/ snow angels for those willing to brave the elements! Bring your suits!!

Come one, come all, and bring your favorite treat!! See you on February 3rd.

New House Update

My new house in the snow!  Thanks to Mark for the awesome photo.

I'm closing on the new house one week from today!!  Then the current owners are renting it from me until March 1.

I had given some of you the moving date of March 9, but now I am thinking the broken arm will probably mean I'll have to move that a couple of weeks later.  (I don't think I will be able to do much packing until my cast is off.)

Thanks to everyone who has offered to help.  I will let you know when I have a better idea of what the date is going to be.

In Memory of the pink tub!

If you are a Denny sib and grew up on 305 North, this is why it was always cold to take a bath. The tub was right next to the outside brick!!

Nick was amazed when he knocked out the wall behind the medicine cabinet--out fell many, many razor blades. He was also amazed that I knew what the slot in the cabinet was for. Memory lane ...thinking of Dads razor....can you all picture it!

Snow of 2013!!!!

Bountiful has tons of snow!! It has snowed for about 40 hrs and we have about 30".

 Just about have the car dug out!

Look at the mail box.....quit snowing! We have run out of places to put it.
