One day Edgar met Eula. He was crazy about her.
Now look what's happened. There are a million of us.
Well OK, not a million. But a LOT. Never fear, this will help us all keep in touch.

Help Jane decide on a Halloween Costume.

It's scary enough having a birthday on Halloween (just think of the sugar overload), but deciding what to dress up as on your special day just adds another element. Maybe we can help Jane decide how to dress on her Halloween Birthday. On the top you see Jane dressed as a Pioneer. She looks freezing cold and very convincing. In the middle is Jane dressed as a werewolf. I can only imagine how much fun she's going to have getting that beard off...ouch. And on the bottom is Jane dressed as a darling girl who just happens to celebrate her birthday on Halloween. Help Jane pick an outfit, and be sure to wish her a very happy Halloween Birthday. We love you Jane.

Look Who Was On My TV Tonight!

Tonight I happened upon The Making Of Sweetwater Rescue: The Willie and Martin Handcart Companies. I remembered this is the documentary that all the Howell's got scruffy-faced for. And just look who I found during the program. The program was very interesting and I was freezing just watching it. I was wrapped in a blanket and drinking some warm tea just watching it. The filming looked like an amazing experience, but definitely not a warm one. (Sorry for the picture quality.)

Recognize these faces?

This is a painting that was done for the new movie we were all in. We didn't know that they were going to do paintings of some of the still photos that were taken. They are releasing 75 new paintings the end of this month and they will be on display at the church museum for a couple of months and for sell at lds book stores the end of this month. This picture was taken of a picture in a book of all the prints that we saw last night at the premier of the movie..." Rescue on the Sweetwater"... I didn't see the whole book so I don't know if any of the rest of us are in any of the other pictures. I can't wait to buy the book and the movie. Jon and I are shown in several scenes in the movie, one quite close up of just the two of us! I am very excited about that. You all have to see the movie.. It is called Rescue on the Sweetwater and it will be out everywhere on the 27th of Sept. It is a very touching story of the Willie and Martin Handcart company's rescue.
Love to you all,
Later,
Janet

Taylor's blessing day

Garrett and Jane will be blessing Taylor this Sunday (May 7th) at 8 (yes I typed 8) am. Sacrament meeting is first so it will start at 8 am. Sorry I know that it is very early. It will be at their ward in Laramie and we wanted you all to know that you are invited to attend if you feel like a road trip. We would love to see you all. I will provide further info as soon as I have it. We will also be having lunch together to celebrate about noon. Hope some of you can make it, but we know that it is quite a distance.
Love you.... Janet
This is a preview picture of Taylor in her blessing dress we took last weekend at Jon's Graduation in Sheridan after we attended Andrea and Eddie's graduation the same weekend in Provo! It was a long and travel filled weekend and well worth every minute and every mile to attend both. Isn't she gorgeous?
We think so...Come on down and see her in the dress in person. :)
Hugs...

More movie shots

This is all of us on the last day of filming. It was fun but very cold. The movie will be shown on PBS in October and I will try to let you all know what day so you can see it. i can't guarantee that you will see any close shots of any of us, but they did film quite a few with c couple of us. I hope some of them make it to the final cut. I think they will show it between conference sessions in October too. It is the 150 anniversary of the Willie and Martin Handcart rescue in October. Poor Brandon shaved just a week earlier thinking he would not be able to make the filming...I am still glad that he was. (even though he looks about 12 years old) The director personally told Garrett and Jane that they will definitely be a part of the movie because she is pregnant and they taped a lot of special scenes with only them. That is cool.
What an experience!! Glad we did it.
Keep you posted on the dates it will air.
