Nick took some pictures at the party and he wanted to post a few so others could enjoy. There are some great shots of Grandpa.

This one turned out slightly blurry, but I liked it so much so we added it anyway.

Thank You Thank You Thank You!!!

Just wanted to thank everyone that has sent money for my friend M'lisse so far. She is now under the care of Hospice ....her daughter was more than grateful and humbled that people cared about them enough to give them such a gift. With the many donations from family and friends we were able to get a double headstone for her and Seth. Thanks so much again with heartfelt love I am humbled by the generosity that has been shown in this. Love to you all and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Travis Is Leaving

Hi everyone!

Travis is entering the MTC on Wednesday, Dec 15th on his way to Macon, Georgia. This Sunday, Dec 12th, he will be speaking at 11:00 am. The old white West Layton church is on the corner of Gentile and 2200 West. After Sacrament Meeting, you are all welcome to come to the house for lunch and visiting.

Uncle Lynn got Married

Yesterday we got an email from Lynda Thorne with the news and some pictures from Uncle Lynn and Nancy's wedding. That's all we know. Congratulations to both of them.

Dr. Love, aka SNOWBALL WRANGLER

Dr Love is OBSESSED with chasing snowballs in the parking lot of the hotel. In fact, she no longer believes we EVER go outside for her to go to the bathroom, it's all about those darn snowballs that try to get away from her. She squirms in my arms as I carry her down the stairs because she fears a snowball is loose that she must go catch. And she'll do it until she is completely shivering and my hands are FREEZING. Very funny.

About 16 years ago Brian and I moved to Kansas. To be honest, the first 7 years were full of a lot of tears. But along the way we have been blessed with an abundance of friends. One of those friends is M'lisse Klein. She is a single mother of three children. Dani (girl 23), Eli (boy 20 serving mission in California) and the late Seth Klein. Although I am in awe and humbly grateful for how awesome life can be, as I have aged I have had the opportunity to become seasoned just a bit with the tragedies that happen all around us. Unfortunately for my sweet friend and her family, heartache has been a common feeling for them this past year. Last December, M'Lisse was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. She has received all the treatments possible and soon her time to leave this earth will come. Seth her youngest son suffered from clinical depression. He was a fabulous young man. He was a joy in so many ways. So do not judge him when I tell you that he committed suicide on Feb. 14 of this past year, just a month and a half after M'lisse's diagnosis. I FIRMLY believe that we are here on this earth to show God's love to others by being His hands. M'Lisse had dinner with one of our mutual friends last night. They discussed life and tieing loose ends. To make a long story short, M'Lisse was never able to get a headstone for her son. I know she would rejoice exeedingly in the goodness of the Lord if someone could give this to her. So this Christmas if you haven't already committed to helping too many other families would you please consider giving money to me to help this family? Any amount is appreciated. Still waiting to here back from the funeral home about the cost of the headstone. To read more about her story see the blog listed below, and don't forget your kleenex's. I love you all and appreciate all that I have been taught by being a member of the Denny clan.

Legacy Family Christmas

This is the invite to all: on Dec. 9 at 5:30 pm

We also received a notice for a complimentary family photography session, given by Thatcher Brook Home Health and Hospice.(not the hospice Dad has)

They offer photos to be taken in the activity room from 6-9 pm on Friday Dec. 3.

They give you a free 5x7 with an 8x10 mat. Anyone that would like to go and have a picture taken with Dad is welcome to do so.
