Today is all about Jorel. It's his day. His party. His presents. His cake. His time to sleep in and ease in to the celebration. I don't know about you, but I'm WAY overdue for an update on Jorel and the rest of the Clark family. We need an updated picture of Jorel, and a life update on the entire gang. We love you Jorel. Is it or isn't it?

Growing up I seem to remember that today was ALSO Vida's birthday. I always thought Valerie and Vida shared a birthday. But then a few years ago I remember somebody telling me that it wasn't OFFICIALLY Vida's birthday, and that she was celebrating her birthday on June 29th. Now I'm just confused. Is it or isn't it? Or should we just not care and take this as a day we get to tell Vida how much we love her? I say yes. So Happy Birthday Vida (we think) and many many more. We love you. We need an update Vida. We miss you.

Pamelia's having a birthday!

I was trying to figure out how old you'd be in that picture Pamelia, 10? 12? I just don't know. It's hard trying to keep track of ages that's for sure. So how old are you? And just how exactly does somebody that is _________ (insert your age) spend their birthday? Anyway, if you decide to ________ (insert fun activity) or eat lots of _________ (insert favorite food) we hope it is WONDERFUL anyway. We love you Pamelia. And we miss seeing you!

I hope you've taken the day off Vida. I'm sure you deserve it. And I hope your kids are going to wait on you hand and foot all day bringing you presents, and bon bons, and a five tier cake smothered in chocolate (or vanilla or lemon if you prefer). That is the face of somebody that wants to skip the oatmeal for breakfast and go straight to the CAKE. And instead of a nap, how about we open some presents. Presents all with MY NAME on them. And let's fill the house with balloons. And crape paper. And no chores today. Unless you count blowing out a whole cake full of candles and making a wish.
