One day Edgar met Eula. He was crazy about her.
Now look what's happened. There are a million of us.
Well OK, not a million. But a LOT. Never fear, this will help us all keep in touch.

Denny Family Christmas Party on December 26?
We are thinking about planning a Denny Family Christmas Party on Friday, December 26, possibly at either Pam's church or Dad's church in hopes that might make it possible for Dad and Norma to come. This would be dinner and maybe one activity, and fairly early for those who need to drive home, maybe 5:00-7:00 P.M.
(Edit: After finding out that Kynastons have plans that night, now I'm thinking if this party was earlier - maybe starting at 4:00 - people who had plans for the evening could still come to the family party first. What do people think about that?)
This is just in the initial planning stages, but we thought this would be a good way to check and see who would be available or be in Utah on those dates. Please leave a comment on this post and let us know if you would be able to make it on that day.

WHAT'S UP?
So, it's been a while since I've posted something, so long, I still haven't showed everyone what Lexi was able to buy with her birthday giftcards.
Lexi is also sporting the classic bed-head do. Her hair was not touched...and this is what it looked like the other morning when she woke up. PRETTY CRAZY!!
Jessie performed songs and dances a few weeks ago in her 3rd grade music program. She is very talented in the performing department. Only FRONT AND CENTER for her:).
We have also enjoyed some flag football this fall. Taylor has been a joy to watch. He actually really had fun, and boy did he do great. He had some interceptions, touch-downs, "tackles"...it was a positive experience for us all!
Kelcie-Beth, well what can I say, she tagged along with us for all of the activities and her face usually looked just like this picture. She is full of happiness and energy.

Thank you Rand and Bradley
Thank you Rand and Bradley for letting us come stay with you! It was a blast and it was great seeing you two again. Until next time....Love your guts!!
Hey everybody...
See that guy down below this post? The one with the gorgeous blonde...Oh wait, that doesn't help. See the guy with the suit jacket on, white shirt, tie? That's Aaron. And guess what? He's a grown up. You can tell that just by the way he's dressed. You can also tell that because today is his birthday. It's official, he's a year older and a year wiser. Be sure you wish him a happy happy birthday. And somebody please, bake a cake. We love you Aaron. Have a wonderful day.

Laynee Lou

Laynee is 6 months old now and the time goes by so fast. She loves sucking her thumb and I have learned it is really cute when it's someone else child. I think it is going to be a habit that is hard to break. She is so good and just wants to hang out all the time. She loves her new high chair but could care less about eating different foods. Hopefully she will get to see most of you at Christmas time.

Elder Ostler
Dear Family, Oct.20, 08
This week when Darin got baptized it was great to see him do that and to
get conformed. It was a very special day for all who could attend. It was
really great because we had the members doing about all of the stuff for
the baptism.
It has been great to find six more people to teach about the church.
It has still been really busy going from one appointment to the next.
It was a real neat time to see Elder Glen L. Pace speak to us. I learned a lot from him
and that he is a funny guy and loves the missionaries. It was fun on the trip over
a bunch of missionaries from our zone piled in a members bus and got to ride over.
It was a few hour ride and it was great to have good time to study. I was in the back
with no light but I brought that book light and it was really nice to use.
I have found that you can never pass people up to talk to them about the church because
you never know when they will be interested. It is a great idea to carry pass along cards
to give them out because most times you don't have a lot of time to talk.
with love, Elder Ostler

Today is Shane's birthday and you know what that means: right this very minute the cows, the goats, the horses, the chickens, the bunnies, and the humans are planning a BIG SURPRISE PARTY! Shhhhhh. RY...today's your day!
If you look fast, you'll be able to see today's birthday girl...Rylie! There she went! OK, here she comes back, oops, she just kicked the ball...did you see her? OK, there she goes, look quick! Oh well...looks like we can't keep up with Rylie on the soccer field. I hope she slows down long enough for us to give her some cake! We love you little Soccer star! Happy Birthday Ry!

Trav goes Tubular.
This is a picture of Travis (in his dreams) while he was renting that ocean front (in his dreams) beach house in Malibu (in his dreams) for that entire summer (in his dreams). He started every morning with some surfing (in his dreams) and ended every day with a pizza (in his dreams). You know what they say: It's ok to dream. Especially on your birthday! We love you Trav. Have an "epic" birthday!

Pumpkins anyone?
Another Baby....
What’s that simple phrase
We use it all the time
“Life never happens how you think”
Here goes my little rhyme
I guess I drank the water
And soon you’re sure to see
You think I’m crazy now --- just wait
Til there is three under 3
It’s taken a while to accept the fact
And now we finally do
The exciting thing about this one
We know that there’s not two
We think it will be lots of fun
To keep it a surprise
A boy or girl, we will not know
Will join our cutie pies
P.S. Baby Torsell is due April 25th
Next up: CAKE!

I Guess he's coming home...his stuff is starting to arrive.
Ok, it's official, he's coming home!! At least we think so cuz his stuff is starting to arrive. Like a bike, and boxes of books, and extra clothes, etc. Last week's email said "sorry to say but I can wait to see y'all cuz I have a little more missionary work left to do." Ok, time's up, cuz we can hardly wait to see him.
He's looking forward to seeing his Grandpa. Who wouldn't be with a Grandpa like this.
And of course, his baby brother, who is bigger than him now is pretty excited!! His buddy is coming home.
And his handsome older Bro, well he might not admit it but he can hardly wait too. He's only got six weeks to chill with Just before he leaves to boot camp for the USMC!! They have a lot of catchin up to do.
Then there's Mommy, as Justin calls her, she's keeping her composure for now, but we'll see when Wednesday comes. Her baby is coming home safe and sound and all grown up. God Bless Texas!!
Ya it's true, Dad is pretty excited too. But since I posted the photos I didn't put one on with me and Just. You know the two of us together are just so handsome that we can't be seen in public very often without drawing a crowd. (lol) Actually, this is one of my favorite pictures of Just with his new found friends in Ascencion a few years ago.
It reminds me of a great missionary scripture in Matthew 25: 35-40. "For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
And the King shall answer and say unto them, "Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."
Thanks Just for blessing our family because of that type of missionary service for the last two years. I love you. See you Wednesday. Love, Dad
Just a reminder, he is speaking in Church next sunday at 2:30 PM. Call us if you need directions to the church, or the house. See you soon, Love y'all!!
