Hudson #3

Our little Huds had a fabulous birthday! We celebrated a little in South Jordan, a little in Denver and a little in Rangely. We decided to go to a Rockies game on Huds' birthday. The drive was well worth it after Huds saw "Dinger" the Rockies mascot and got to pick out a little Rockies bat for his souvenir. Huds loved his Buzz Lightyear cake but mostly he liked to "blow out the fire". Huds is such a joy to have in our family. He is funny, thoughtful, loving, silly, a great brother and we love him lots.

Draper April Birthdays

We celebrated a couple of April birthdays in our family. (Blake, Easton, Kenzie, and Clayton) We missed having Jessie and Laynee there but managed to eat plenty of food without them.

Bad Idea

It is such beautiful weather today I thought I'd let the boys outside to play for a while. I knew they were going to get muddy but didn't imagine this. What a great idea. NOT!

Free 5x7

We went to the mall the other day and were approached by Kiddie Kandids asking if we wanted a free 5x7. Heath asked, "What's the catch?" There was no catch they were just training new hires. Well, they actually had to take single pictures of all the kids and by the time we got around to the free 5x7 this is what we got. Hilarious!

Family Picture

Not too much going on in our neck of the woods....enjoyed a little snow yesterday and Jax asked if it was Christmas.....ahhhh, where is the year going?

Jaxon and Hudson.....

are excited to announce the arrival of their little baby brother EASTON CLAYTON TORSELL. Easton was born on April 15th at 7:34am and weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz. We are super excited to have him in our family!

It's a ......

BOY!

I know Ryan and I said we were going to keep it a surprise but right as I pulled into the hospital parking lot, I received a text from Ryan that said, "just find out what it is for me". I asked the ultrasound lady if she could take a picture of the baby and write the sex on it. She then folded the picture up and stuck it in an envelope. I called Ryan and we discussed it for a while, then I opened it. I cried but I'm over it now and very excited. Ryan was way excited saying, "3 for 3"!

Here's the plan for today:

In honor of Becca's birthday, I'd like everyone to make their best attempt at: FOLDING YOUR EAR INSIDE OF ITSELF. Now, I don't recommend just twisting and tucking it in immediately, take it slowly and gently (we don't want any broken ears...is that possible?). Unfortunately I don't have a picture to show you how it's done. Becca? Do you have one? Anyway, happy ear folding everyone and a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you Becca. We love you. 

Jaxon's 3

Jaxon is officially 3! We started celebrating his birthday last Sunday and he has had an awesome week. He especially loved spending the weekend with Ryan. Happy Birthday Jax!

Happy Birthday Huds!

We can't believe Huds is ONE! He's had an amazing birthweek(that's what we celebrate at the Draper's)! I'm not sure who liked the birthday cake more, Huds or the adults. :o)

"I have to whisper this because my Dad Ryan-Ryan-Bo-bye-en is in the other room watching Wipeout and I don't want him to hear me. Today is his birthday. I know, you're thinking, 'that's not possible, he doesn't look any older' but trust me, it's true. Just between you and me, the other day I think I even saw a gray hair...but it could have just been the light. Anyway, I've got some surprises planned for him and just wanted to let you know so you could also wish him a happy birthday; he'd like that. Now don't tell him who told you. Promise? OK. I'm off to drool and get into something so my Dad won't suspect anything is up." PS. Did you know we moved? So far I like Rangely, but I do miss all of you.

The Fountains

We had a blast today! First, we met Aunt Kalyn and the Ostler kids at Gateway for an adventure in the fountains. The kids loved the water and every 1/2 hour the fountains were choreographed to music for an extra boost of excitement. Then, we headed back to Aunt Kalyn's house for a BBQ with her friend Susan, Susan's daughters Sophie and Samone and Jake Ostler. The food was amazing and nothing beats a Ball Park (all beef frank) grilled to perfection. The company was great, the food was great, and all in all we had a great time. Thanks Kalyn for everything!

Jax and Huds

The Torsell's are feeling spring fever bad and the boys can't wait for it to warm up a little more. We are doing good. Ryan has been working in Colorado for a while now and hopefully we'll all be moving there soon so we can be together. We shut off our home phone and only have cell phones. My new number is 970.629.8423. Hope all is well with everyone.
