Easter Egg Hunt @ Great Grandpas

Here's Cooper and Sophie with the Easter Bunny....Cooper said it is not
real, it is just a girl...Her hair was hanging out in back :)

It was fun, fun times! They had a full blown breakfast following, bacon
sausage, eggs, bisquits and gravy, and fruit!

Sophie would pass 6 eggs to pick up 1. She didn't go about it selfishly :)

Cooper diligently trying to collect a few of the 5000 eggs that were scattered. He said "This
is not an Easter egg hunt, they didn't even hide the eggs"

Quinn was sick so she didn't go. Look at these killer blue eyes.

Grandpa Great stayed in his room, as he had just eaten breakfast.
We had a nice visit with him following the hunt.

26 glorious years have come and gone!

A wonderful big brother, uncle, and son, he always puts people at ease. Easy to talk to and to talk with. Loves to read, read, and read some more. He also loves to play the occasional game or two on the computer. A busy guy, working two jobs AND going to school, and loyal to all his friends and family.

If you can read her shirt just remember to be nice to her!! It says " I may look harmless but I raised a US MARINE!! So wish her a happy belated birthday or else!! What's not to love about Lisa? How did I get so lucky? Happy BD yesterday my love. You rock my world!!

She may be in a Rocking Chair but I guarantee you she is not that old. Just posing for the camera. I didn't want her special day to go unnoticed (yesterday) even if she is a year older. Many happy returns sweetie, and remember, I love you more!!

A girl at my work took this darling photo of her son. The picture he is holding is of her grandfather who was in the navy. I saw this and thought Aunt Lisa would really like this picture, and I was just going to email it to her, but then I figured I might as well just post it on the blog! (That's what the blog is for, right?) Anyway, I love it!

After much pain and tribulation, we would like to introduce you to Jonathan's two top teeth. We're glad they finally made it since their arrival has been highly anticipated for quite some time. Phew! A little less misery in the world now.

Track - Lehi Style

Track has begun for Kenzie. Their first meet was yesterday and it was FREEZING. I don't know how the girls ran in the ice cold wind, but run they did. Kenz runs the 1600M and the 800M.
There are about 3 other girls on Kenzie's soccer team that run track. Like these girls don't get enough running at soccer, they like to run at track. Maybe it's because they are so good at it.

Give a great big Denny welcome to Kymberly Lynn Howell.... Born 3-18-10, 7 lbs 9 ozs , 20 1/4 inches. Born at 11:20 am today

Everett and Amber have safely delivered a beautiful daughter today. She looks a lot like her mom with a dimple in her chin from dad :) We think she is absolutely beautiful and we are very excited to add her to our family.

Puerto Rico

Ben and I just got back from Puerto Rico. We had a blast seeing the Rain Forrest, kayaking in the dark and enjoying the beach. The resort we stayed at had a private beach that we took a boat too. Their were lizards, frogs, chickens and dogs everywhere. It was fun getting away but I sure missed my girls. Thanks to Emily and my mom for taking are of them for the week!!

Look Who Came to My House!

Becca, Jenn, and the boys came for a visit and we had fun going to Hires together! I'm having fun buying shirts for the great-nieces and great-nephews, so these are the new shirts I got for Jaxon, Hudson, and Easton. (It will take me a while to work my way through the family, but I'll try not to miss anyone!)

Yes, indeed, I am SO EXCITED about how it's turning out. Let me know if you'd like an invitation for dinner cooked on the NEW STOVE!

The project is not quite done, there are new pan racks going up on Friday, very similar to the ones Kelly designed for the first kitchen remodel, but stainless steel to match the new stove.

Bad Idea

It is such beautiful weather today I thought I'd let the boys outside to play for a while. I knew they were going to get muddy but didn't imagine this. What a great idea. NOT!
