Ryan's baptism and confirmation were awesome! The over-whelming support from family and friends made the event so nice. I don't know any other way to say it than "Mom, you rock". Thanks for everything you do!

Remembering Grant.

Two birthdays today. One is studying, goofing off, growing up, studying, eating cheese, studying, visiting Aly, goofing off, and freezing in the winter. The other is also studying, but mostly these days this person is snuggling, staring, kissing, cuddling, holding, rocking, burping, changing diapers and counting blessings. Any ideas?

Spring Break

Drapers had a good spring break. We hit Disneyland, Angels baseball, and the beach. A word of advice, never go to California over Spring Break. You might think it's a good idea, but so does the rest of the world. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Ryan's Baptism

The Torsell Family would like to share our exciting news about Ryan's Baptism and extend an invitation to all those who can make it. Ryan will be getting baptized on April 29th at 6:00pm and confirmed on April 30th at 10:50am. We will be having a little get together on Sunday April 30th at my parents house after the confirmation and Sacrament Meeting. The address for the Stake Center where the baptism will be is 5766 S. Fashion Blvd (by Fashion Place Mall) and the address for the church where the confirmation will be is 5600 S. & Avalon Street (about 490 E.)

Wishing everyone a warm, relaxing, restorative, peaceful, Easter Sunday. Gunther called first thing this morning wondering if the Easter Bunny knew that he needed to come back to our house in two weeks when he and Hannah would be there. We assured him that we left a note. He was relieved. Happy Easter. We love you all.

Yup, it's true.

She's an amazing mother. (Even though she doesn't look old enough to be one.) She makes the best polar fleece throws. She's very cool under pressure. She bursts into song at the stroke of a campfire. She loves purple and orange. She's last, but not least. She used to have a taste for kerosene. And she's a little bit older today. Happy Birthday little Sis (there's only one person I can say that to). We love you.

Road Trippin: Portland, the giant Redwoods, San Francisco

Spring break means one thing at our house: we're not at our house. We road tripped to Portland, San Francisco, Morro Bay, Eureka, Santa Rosa and the giant Redwood forests. We had a great time. I remember visiting the Redwood forests as a kid and I can tell you they are as giant as ever and very awe inspiring. They're actually quite mind blowing. You just can't believe trees can be that enormous. A highly recommended trip for anyone considering a get away. Dr Love, the globe trotting min pin also enjoyed the trip.
