Leave a Comment Telling What's Your Favorite Photo from the Denny Reunion

What a fun time at Thorne's for the Denny Family reunion. There were a lot of people there, but we also missed a lot of you who weren't able to make it. Hopefully next time!

Please help Kalyn become a better photographer. What's your favorite photo from the reunion, whether you were there or not.

(Remember, taking photos of people, outside, half-sun-half-shade, moving targets, no tripod, is not my specialty! Also with so many photos I had to optimize them a lot, which reduces the photo quality. If you hate your photo tell me and I will take it off.)

Sorry, I don't think I can attempt the names. If someone wants to list them for me, I'll edit.

To Leave a Comment:
1. Click the link that says comment
2. Write your comment in the box. (We give extra credit if you use capital letters, period, and try to spell words right.)
3. If you don't have a blog I.D., click the circle that says "other." This will make a window pop up where you can type in your name. (Or you can comment as anonymous, but in some circles that's regarded as bad blogging manners.)
4. Click "Publish Your Comment"

Halloween Food

Especially for you young moms who have not been teaching elementary school for 27 years (and are sick of Halloween) here's a great site for kids that has Halloween Food:

http:// www. kidskuisine. com

(There should not be spaces. I have to put spaces here, otherwise people can track back from there and find our family blog.)

Here's a Food Product I Bet
a Lot of You Would Like

I am having a great time at the Blogher Conference in San Jose. I'm meeting a few other food bloggers, including a woman who writes for Slashfood. She wrote about a new product that I'm guessing a lot of you would like:

Root Beer Float Ice Cream

Click on the link to read about it.

DENNY FAMILY BINGO

Thanks to all those who have responded on sending me a trivia fact about people in your family! I've heard from Jenn, Ang, Pam, Kara, Rand, and Janet. If I don't hear from you, I'll make something up about you - and I'll try to be nice! (He! He! He!)

Also, many of you have been wondering about Justin's mission call. They were in on-line on Memorial Day, but a few things needed to be finished up. We finished the last thing 2 weeks ago, so we thought we'd hear by now. Apparently, it wasn't logged in until July 6, so it hasn't been processed yet. Hopefully, we'll hear in a couple more weeks. We'll call and/or blog as soon as the call comes. Thanks, we love you and are grateful for your support.

KEEP SENDING YOUR TRIVIA FACTS UNTIL TOMORROW NIGHT. We are leaving Wednesday morning reeeeealllllllly early to be able to golf, swim and play with 4 wheelers that along the way!

xoxoxoxo,
LISA

An Amazing Piece of Internet Art

Many of you know that I am a writer for a site called BlogHer (for women bloggers). I'm actually getting paid to do it now! Anyway, today I found something on their site that I thought was so amazing I thought some of you might enjoy seeing it.

We Feel Fine is a project created by two artists who have designed a program which scans blogs looking for times when the writer says "I feel . . . " They collect that data in an ongoing record and analyze it in different ways. Take a look and I guarantee you'll be amazed.

(If you have a slow internet connection you might not want to attempt this. It has a lot of stuff going on.)

Here's the url for anyone who wants to access it from work or school:

Let's Frappr

Frappr is a free website that has a map that allows you to place a "virtual pushpin" in your current location. While the site can sometimes be a little slow (and you have to sift through the ads), I thought it might be kind of cool to see where everybody is.

Soooooo, if you'd like to, mark your location on our Denny frappr map:

Once you're on the site, there's an "Add Yourself" form on the right hand side of the page.
