McClelland update

Hey everybody...just thought we'd give a little update on our lives here in Ohio. We have had an awesome summer with tons of visitors from both sides of the family!

We just recently bought our first home. We are so excited about it! Our new address is: 340 Meadowside Ct., Gahanna, OH 43230.

Also, Thomas is doing really well. He is such a fun little guy! He loves to smile and laugh and he is turning out to be quite a good little napper (thankfully!).

Life is grand!

I HAVE MOVED.....

As of yesterday I have officially moved out of my 700 square foot apartment into my new 8,651 square foot mansion!!! I am not joking, I currently reside in the master suite of this home. I have three other roommates (one is moving in two weeks so there will only be 3 of us total). It has four floors (I have the second floor to myself) and a hot tub on the roof. There is about 20 stairs between each floor and it is quite a hike to the roof. It is for sale, so if any of you would like to purchase it for 1.6 million dollars and still let me live there I would really appreciate it!

Update from the Mark and Lisa and the boys

Hi everyone,

We've been in a great whirlwind lately, but the tornado is starting to slow down.

JUSTIN: He leaves the MTC on Monday, headed to Dallas. Wow! Not even 3 weeks there. His first day letter was a little worrisome, "Pray lots and write lots cuz I'm kind of panicking!" Then his letters got much better! He LOVES his companion (also from Utah, tall and skinny and loves sports and is a happy go-getter) and he LOVES his roomates and his district. We got pictures and he looks great, and if we had high speed internet at home, we'd post some. One day, when we can catch our breath, I'll go do it at Mark's work. When J gets assigned to a place, I'll post his address!

MATT: He's decided to move out with some friends. One of the guys bought a house, so 4-5 of them are moving in together. It sounds fun, but crazy! He's excited!!! He's mostly excited that I gave him lots of kitchen and living stuff as we moved!! He's been working out of town a lot, so we haven't seen him much, but when he is home, he's really never there! But we'll still miss him and hope he does great!

TRAVIS: He had a good birthday, though things were kind of in disarray. He got a new bike, as he needs transportation as we live 'out in the country!' He's decided he likes the old rock and rollers, so if any of you have any Pink Floyd CD's lying around, he would love a copy! (Or anything in that category!)

897 ELM STREET: Our house is up for sale. If you know of anyone in the market, it's on the market for $219,000. It's listed on ksl.com or you can call us for information.

1512 W GENTILE: We are in our new home! This is what we need to post pictures of; maybe some day. It's a great place and as we start to find places for our stuff, we love it more and more! We haven't spent much time there, as we are focusing on selling our other place, but we are able to eat, sleep and wash clothes! Mark did say today he needs to go through some more boxes to find his long sleeve shirts as it is starting to cool down quite a bit. Our phone number is the same, we're still in Layton, and our zip code is still 84041. So feel free to call, write or come and visit!.

It is a cute little fourplex and I am living by myself and I have to say that it has been kind of nice not having any roommates. Teaching is going well and getting a little bit less overwhelming. My students are great (most days) and I love the school I am at.

Anyway, I just thought I would update everyone on my life. (No I am not getting married yet!)

Rand-- I am jealous about the celebrity sighting. I love Grey's Anatomy (just a recent addiction) and I don't care which Doctor it was, I just wish I got to see him/her. I can't believe I went for three days with celebrity sightings high on my list of priorities and I don't see any. (At least none that I am positive about) Anyway, thanks for that update!

We are loving it here and are very excited to be closer to a lot of our family. Bridger is doing good and is getting huge! He can't wait to see you all again! Danen is loving his new job, and gets to go to Paris in November with them. He is very excited about that.
