AFTER TWO GREAT YEARS!

JESSICA AND I WOULD LIKE TO ANNOUNCE THAT AFTER TWO GREAT YEARS OF BEING MARRIED WE ARE FINALLY ADDING TO OUR FAMILY. WE JUST FOUND OUT THAT JESSICA IS PREGNANT AND WE COULDN'T BE ANY MORE EXCITED!!! WE DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS YET OR EVEN HOW FAR ALONG WE ARE BUT WE HAVE OUR FIRST DOCTORS VISIT ON FRIDAY SO WE WILL KEEP EVERYONE POSTED. YEAHHHH!!!

Dad's/Grandpa's Luau at Legacy

These are the people and Kelly (taking pic) who went to it. They had some good food and fun entertainment.
Thought it would be fun for all to see Dad at the Luau. We managed to talk him into coming down for dinner.
Dad doesn't look that happy, but I do think he enjoyed it. Several people there enjoyed seeing Dad come out of his room..

Sophie also went up on stage and did the poi balls(don't know the name) for a whole song.....she was so cute, but I didn't get a picture. Heather, post a picture if you have one.

Ps. Kelly and I will be gone Sept. 30-Oct 5....I am sure Grandpa would love company from anyone during this time especially.

First off I thought I should be posting a few pics of Coleman but i never really get a chance because we don't have the internet at our house and with work, family and church callings I always forget. Lucky for all of you I found out I have H1N1 last night so I'm staying at my parents to stay away fromn Cole so I've found some time to post. The dr. said i should be past the contagious stage but we wanted to be extra safe since cole is only two months old. Also, he said i should be over it in a week and ready to get back to life so i'm not to worried like everyone else seems to be about the virus.

The other main reason I'm posting is because we are going to be blessing Coleman on the 11th of october and wanted to invite any and all who wanted to come. I won't be offended if some can't make it because i know its a travel for some so don't feel obligated. Our sacrament is at 9 a.m. (which also makes it hard for travelers). To get to our chapel get off the 5600 South exit in roy and turn west. Then turn right on 1900 west (which is main st. in roy). Continue straight until 4000 South where you will turn left. Go west and it's the first LDS church on left side right after the large catholic church. If you want to mapquest it the address is 3939 west 4000 south west haven, utah. We will have people to our house after and all are welcome there. If coming can you bring a side or dessert to share. Thanks and I'm excited to see you.

Several of us went to Wyoming this past weekend for Everett and Amber's wedding. It was fun, GREAT food, Beautiful wedding and a few fupahs. If you went you know what I mean:)

Sorry Garrett.....I guess I didn't get you in a picture. After cutting all that Prime Rib the least I could have done was give you credit in a picture....sorry.

Elder Ostler's Last Month

Dear family, Sep 21,09
It is really going great here this week we were able to set another baptim date with a PM family it is a kid named Joey. It was also fun helping a LA family with some service we got to help them bail some hay about 280 bails it was some good hard work we also got to know them really good and had fun. Then we also baked Josh a cake for his birthday it was a fishing cake with a guy and made a pond and got sweedish fish and it was neat he said he has never had a party. Then we also made Sam a cake for her birthday it was a pinapple she loves that stuff. It was tons of fun all these out of scratch cake and frosting. It was so neat at church on Sunday Carol who we have a date with said that after watching together forever she wants to be baptised as soon as she can. She said hearing the plan of Salvation completed what she needed. Then at church on Sunday tons of people showed up it was packed, what a great place to be full. These are the people who came Josh, Carol, Sam, Paul and 4 part member familys husbands and 2 of our ward mission leaders relatives. I also found out that I am getting 2 new comps Elder Hoggs and Elder Crapo. And Elder Leffler is going to weldin springs Mo. Something new is going to happen, it is always good even when you will miss your old comp.

Aug. in Yellowstone... Soul Food!

We took a little trip to Jackson, The Tetons, and Yellowstone last month...Awesome!!

WE Saw lots of these beautiful creatures. Some were so close you could see the snot in their nostrils!! No lie.

We arrived at Old Faithful on the US Marines Helicopter, thanks to Matt. Ok, not really, but President Obama and his family did while we were there. jWe only got to talk to him for a few minutes. It's true.

I love old Barns. This one is in The Tetons on a road called Mormon Row. Amazing view of the Tetons in the background, even with the rain clouds.

What better thing to do on a quiet sunday afternoon than ride your bikes in the Tetons. We rode from Moose Junction to Jenny Lake on a brand new trail. Incredible.

The Upper Falls of the Yellowstone River. Breathtaking!! This yellow canyon is why they call it "Yellowstone"

Just and Trav swam in the Firehole River! Really cool, a must do when you go. The water is actually warmer than the air from the hot water that runs into the river. A pretty cold day though, so Mom and Dad chickened out. It was actually raining a little but the boys didn't mind.

We rented "Duckies" (inflatable kayaks) and floated the rapids of the Snake River Canyon. Lunch Counter, Big Kahuna, the works!! Twice. A little hairy in spots, but we survived. Actually not bad but you do get wet. Only from head to toe though. A blast!!!

We had an ice cream with Pres. Obama at the Yellowstone Store in Old Faithful...ok, not really, but we were there at the same time as him and saw him leave in the helocopters. 5 of them to be exact, on the ground when we arrived at Old Faithful. Pretty cool.

Lis and I tried to rest anytime the boys would let us, but that wasn't very often. We came home more tired than when we left, but with our "batteries recharged". A great trip, but we did miss Matt. Sorry Lance Corporal Denny, maybe next time. I have lots more pictures, but to see them you will have to buy the book.

Okinawa, Japan

Well hello there family, I am doing great out here in Maryland. I graduate training here Oct. 5 and I will be home for about 3 weeks, then I am getting stationed in Okinawa, Japan, with 3rd Marine Division. I will be there for 2 years, and my unit i get to travel to all the countries in that area. I will be able to travel alot and have a whole otherside of the world experiance. OORAH! Hope you are all doing well. I will be in Utah for like 20 days, i will try and see you all then. Love you all.

And for those who don't know, my job is 4341 Combat Correspondant, which is public affairs, photography and journalism.

And I also got promoted 2 weeks ago, I am now Lance Corporal Denny.
