Newest Addition

We welcomed the newest member of our family early this morning.  Henry David McClelland joined us at 12:21 a.m. and weighed in at 8 lbs. 11 oz and was 20 inches long.  He has lots of reddish brown hair and is a complete sweetheart.  We are totally enamored!

Jonathan turned one yesterday and Mason turns one tomorrow. I can't believe it has already been a year!

Come closer...I don't want my parents to hear me...closer....OK, shhhh...today is my BIRTHDAY. Seriously. I know dude, you're thinking, "Wooah, he doesn't look a day over...well...a day over 11 months"...but it happens to the best of us. And I think I'm aging pretty well. I've got a couple little rolls...but mostly on my wrists. Do me a favor will ya? If you happen to talk to my parents today can you slip them a couple of hints for me? No socks. No big boy pants. And NO vegetables! Just for today. I'm thinking gooey chocolate, toys, and maybe staying up all hours, like until 8:45! Oh, and cake for breakfast again tomorrow. OK. This is all between you and me. Promise? Thanks for the help!

McClelland update

Hey everybody...just thought we'd give a little update on our lives here in Ohio. We have had an awesome summer with tons of visitors from both sides of the family!

We just recently bought our first home. We are so excited about it! Our new address is: 340 Meadowside Ct., Gahanna, OH 43230.

Also, Thomas is doing really well. He is such a fun little guy! He loves to smile and laugh and he is turning out to be quite a good little napper (thankfully!).

Life is grand!

8 pounds 10 ounces

20 1/2 inches long

lots of 1 inch long reddish brown hair!!! ( I will try to get a good picture of the hair for you)

Mom and baby are doing great and we are very thankful and thrilled.

Bridger's 1st Haircut!

He was so good! He didn't even cry the whole time! He just sat and let Grandma give him a buzz!!

Eddie's Birthday!

Today is Eddie's big day! I just wanted to give a shout out for the man I love! You are the greatest and most thoughtful husband. Thanks for making me feel special every day. I hope your day is wonderful despite having to go to the dentist and aside from the rain. Be sure to eat extra cake today...that'll make you feel better...and the dentist will love it!

McClelland Update

Hey! Just thought we'd post a little update since you haven't heard from us in awhile. We are doing well and hangin' in there until the little guy is born. Just under 3 months to go! Yea!

Here's a belly shot we took yesterday in case anyone is interested. Just for the record...I don't feel as big as I look - when I saw this picture, I hadn't realized just how big I had become...but hey, it's for such a great cause! :)

Also wanted to give a shout out to D and Ang for their beautiful addition...we voted for Sadie too! What a cutie!

Life in Ohio is great and for any of you following the NCAA tournament - GO BUCKS!

This just in...

So we got the news that our active little bundle of joy is a boy! We are totally psyched! He was so cute on the ultrasound sucking his thumb and playing with his feet (which are totally in his face!).

The doctor kept commenting on how long his fingers are - well, I guess that's evidence that he got some of my genes (Andrea). We started discussing names over lunch today but will not reveal the final pick until this baby boy is in our arms. Sorry for the suspense...but hey, that's the breaks! You can pretty much count on it not being McKay or Leland...that would just be too weird with the last name McClelland.

Mother's note:

Seeing him squirm and seeing his fingers and toes and heart beat made all the heartburn, endless peeing, headaches, sleeplessness and backaches sooooo worth it! I can't wait to hold him in my arms for the first time. What a precious little boy. I hope he looks like his father...what a cutie!
