stu's letter

alright everyone, this week was grreeat we had a lot of success and we are very excited for this up comming week. with all the new people we have to teach and all of the people who are progressing towards the waters of baptism. it is a bit cold here but actually is starting to get warmer i think that it's just because of all the clouds that are here. Because of the Christmas Holiday i've already seen a change in a lot of peoples hearts here in this town. they seem way more receptive to us speaking about Jesus Christ. especially with some of the DVD's that the church creates such as Mr. Krugers Christmas and also with Joy to the world. we are getting a lot of media refferals from people who see the comercials. also when we go out tracting we carry them on us and tell them that we would love to come back and give them there own copy and most of the time they say yes. VERY EXCITING!!!! i love the Christmas time of year people seem really nice. except for in the stores they are brutal trying to get every last worldy thing. ahhh!! frustrating. and dad to answer your question no we don't have a wal-mart St. Albans is a pretty small place. we do have some stores that provide winter clothing but not a lot of them very little stores. I don't know if i told you this but one of our investigators lives right on the boarder of Canada. his name is John he is an amazing man. he has already told me that it's not the question of if he'll get baptized it's just when now. so that is really good news we got the other day. he is a trainer, he has trained world Champion wrestlers and boxers and body builders and he told us to come over on Mondays. he says that on p-days every 50 pounds that i lift he'll read a chapter in the Book of Mormon. so i'm gonna try it for a while to try and get him moving a long faster. he says that when he gets done with the book of mormon he'll most likely be baptized. so at nights i've been lifting a lot on the weight bench we have in the apt. anyways that's really all for now i hope everything is going well for everyone at home and i hope that everything according to mexico is going well. god bless you all and keep up the good work. i love you all.peace.Elder Stuart Denny

Stu's letter and new address

Hello all of you wonderful people. Yes i was transferred sorry i didn't get a chance to write you and let you know my new address but moving into another area that is about 30 minutes from Canada is pretty overwhelming and exciting and a long task. i'm in a small town named St. Albans VT it is way at the top northeast part of Vermont. I was kind of disappointed to get the dreaded phone call and get transferred mainly because i had 5 thanksgiving dinners all lined up for me and Elder Jorgensen. when i arrived at my new area my companions name is Elder Nicholas he is from Chicago. He only had 1 dinner lined up. i was quite upset with him about that. again like Elder Jorgensen i've served around Elder Nicholas in my past areas so it's not really a scary or new experience being with him. he is a funny laid back hard workin' missionary. who loves joking around. i think we're probably a lot a like. Anyways things here are going well Thanksgiving was definitely different being with people i didn't know at all. we ate over at the Branch Presidents house so of course they welcomed me with open arms and just to answer your question mom yes i was my usual self i'm not exactly a shy quiet person anymore. my Apartment is huge i do enjoy it. Dad and Nate get this the shower head is actually high enough that i don't have to squat down or lean or hunch or bend or anything i just stand there and the water is still above my head. i love it. the only one in the mission i think. things here are definitely cold though. the other day we went tracting in 10 degree weather and it was windy and snowing and brr... i'm not exactly a huge fan of this place already. ha ha ha just kidding i am having a lot of fun and we are finding a lot of new people to work with and infact. there is a family and another man that the elders have been working with for 3 months and they have never been invited to baptism so i think that is going to be the first thing i do when i meet them... okay so maybe not the first thing but me and Elder Nicholas prayed and decided that they really need to invitation put in front of them so they know why we are here and what the goal is. i'm healthy and strong and holy cow are wool socks expensive. i had no idea. the only ones that i can find are like 8 bucks a pair. Mom Help what should i do. do i buy them for that much or do i try to make my own i don't know. that's crazy expensive though right? anyways thank you all for all of your love and support i better be off now other poeple are waiting for the computer and that is really all that i have to say. oh wait you wanted my new addressElder Denny55 high st. #5St. Albans, VT 05478-1618good thing i remember that, i want some packages. ha hathanks again for everything everyone. especially MOM and DADLove Ya lots,Elder Denny

stu's letter for the week

hello to everyone out there, you are all awesome. i'm not very happy right now. Last night i got the dreaded phone call. and i'm TRANSFERED. AHHHHHHH!!!! i don't really enjoy being transfered simply for the reason that i must pack. i don't mind leaving people i don't mind going to a new challenge or a new area with totally different problems. but i'm not exactly a fan of packing. So this week went really well, i don't remember if i told you that we set another date with a lady named Deb. she is a JW. and she has been wanting to get baptized for quite sometime we just wouldn't do it for her because she wasn't ready to stop being a Tattoo Artist. which is really weird she doesn't have any tattoo's but she is an amazing artist. Also me and Elder Jorgensen have been participating in some service at one of the local high schools, we've been building the stage set for the play that they're going to perform. so on Saturday we got the opportunity and privilege to go to that play and watch our set in real live action. they students did a really night job. and the play was a huge success. We also found some new people to work with. Brad and Sheena. they are a young couple that are facing a lot of strife and are really being tried. the day that we walked up to their door, they had just had a huge dog fight between Sheena's dog and Brad's Brother's dog. and so they were a bit unsettling. but we set up an appointment with them and they happily accepted. we went back and taught them and are going to go back Tomorrow. (well not me but Jorgensen and New comp)I hope that all becomes a success there as they continue to teach them. Well i best be gettin' to packin' i've got a lot of stuff to do still i've got a lot of good bye's to be saying and a lot of cleaning along with packing. (hopefully i'll be able to get rid of a lot of crap!!) Anyways i love you all and hope all is well and that you are all striving to be the best people that you can. that being awesome like i know you are. Much Love, Elder Stuart J. Denny

stu's letter for the week

Hello everyone back at home, or wherever you might be. anyways yes Dadtoday is a very great day for somebody very special. Jessica's Birthday isToday she is an eighteen years young Adult. it has been amazing forme to be so far away but still be able to see her grow and become the personshe wants to be and be the person that will go very far in life. she hasrecently recieved her young womenhood award and i'm very proud of her forthat. Anyways i'm doing great the weather here is even better. forabout a week it was pretty cold reaching into the 20's and 30's, however nowit seems to be stuck in between the 60's and 70's. so it's been just great.i still haven't broke out the heavy jacket or anyway really warm clothesalthough i really do need to start looking for things that i'm going to buyfor this winter. so me and elder Jorgensen are working and doing well together.in fact today we invited someone to be baptized someone we've been workingwith for quite sometime. she was very excited to be able to do that. shehas wanted to for a while but we wouldn't let her until she totally quitebeing a tattoo artist. she has decided to give it up so that will probablytake place sometime this coming week probably this Saturday. so we are wayexcited for that. also we have about 4 baptisimal commitments that thisweek we are going to turn into baptism dates, solid ones. and get thosepeople who have been delaying this too long. coming up this sunday will be transfer calls wow this went by fast,i do think that there will be a change in our companionship. i think thatElder Jorgensen is going to get transfered. i know it sounds a little bitweird because he's been here longer than me but i think he's going and i'mgoing to stay and continue the work here in this nice little place ofmiddlebury. anyways not much is exciting here just that little bit of news fromthis morning about that baptism. i'll talk to you all soon. i love you all and hope everyone is looking for ways that they can help the missionary work go forth and progress. I love all of you and i love this work i know that it's true. you all rock thanks to everyone who continues to write me.Love Elder Stuart J. Denny

stu's letter

hey everybody, it was very nice to hear from all those who sent things tome, (dad) is actually the only one but that's fine. by the way i did justbarely get the package that yall sent me with the video tape in it. and itlooks like everyone is doing well. which always makes me happy. thank youfor the video tape and for the candy and news article and just foreverything that you all are always doing for me. So i just thought i would share with you all some really good newsand a really good experience that i had this last week. on Friday me and elder Jorgensen met this girl who , to give you background is wicken and also athiest and has been suicidal since she wasten/with many attempts that didn't go through. so we began to share withher a lot of jesus christ testifying like crazy and just pouring our heartsand feelings out to this person. we shared with her little parts of therestoration of the gospel as well as the "finding faith in Christ" video.we told her to pray and ask god if what we had just shared with her was trueand if we were true servants and messangers from god. she said that shewould. we setup a return appointment with her that we might be able to comeback and hopefully check up on the commitments that we had left with her. the next morning i woke up and recieved a phone call from her shesaid that she had done exactly what we had asked and she had never felt thisway. and she said that she recieved her answer from god that everything westood for and told her was infact true. she told me that morning that shewanted to be a member and asked me what she had to do to become one. Iexplained to her that she would need to be baptized and explained why andeverything. she simple without hesitance responded -okay- when? it was amazing that sunday she came to church and it happened to betestimony sunday. since we have a small branch the missionaries always getup to say a couple of things to try and get everything rolling. howeverthis one was different people just kept getting up and before i could get achance to get up our investigator "Kareena" got up and bore a very humbleand honest testimony that she KNEW what we had shared with her is true andshe bore witness of the validity of the book of mormon. which just made mesink to humility. it was amazing. after she stepped down i decided rightthen would be a good time for my-self to address the branch. it wasamazing. we are now working on getting her parents permission for herbaptizm. well that is basically all that is going on in my mission right nowwe do have a lot more investigators but i thought that this one wasperticularly amazing and would draw all of your interest. anyways i hopethat all is going well and i hope that everything at home continues to bewell.I love you all everything is well with me. thanks for all you do. continue to choose the right and i hope all of youare taking the challenge to read the book of mormon i know it has blest mylife since i've finished it and hopefully ill get done with it a third timeby the end of the year since Preisdent hinckley has announced it.

here's stu's letter - sorry it's late

Hey mama ,thank you so much for your words and for the advise on writing a thing for the court of honor. I didn't even know that Brayden got his eagle i didn't know that he was done with everything. that is so awesome i'm stoked to see dads head totally bald. his head is going to freeze this winter. i'll make sure i write something for it. and i'll be sure to send grandpa a card. aswell as the testimony for grandpa. even though i've already done that cause i'm writing him quite a bit lately. but i'll do it. also i'll be sure to send aaron dad and then nate cards so they feel loved. thank you so much for the shirts i did get the package and my hoody is on me right now and it was very warm thanks. dad told me that he's been writting to myldsmail.org but i'm not getting anything. make sure he sends it to dennyman33@myldsmail.org Anyways i don't think i told you the good news last week but on Saturday we got to go have a personal meeting with Elder Ballard. strickly for missionaries. wow he is definitely a different person from General Conferance. it was really nice to see him in a new light. he was funny crackin' jokes and just havin' a good time. Other good news is since me and my new companion are now together (oh ya Elder wing got transfered) we've been kickin' tail. me and Elder Jorgensen served in the same district in Maine so we are already really good friends and already doing a lot of good work. we now have two baptism dates and we have 4 commitments from people to do it. we just haven't set dates with them. the leaves are practically gone they say that we wont get the chance to see the real beauty of Vermont this year because of how warm and wet it is. so i'm pretty disappointed about that. other news is that i'm healthy i'm strong and i'm sleeping wonderfully. i'm not as stressed about somethings that i really needed to get worked out with some people. but anyways i'm off to play football with some investigators and some members i'm stoked i can't wait.i love you all your wonderful thankyou for the love and the support and for the continuing encouragment love you all tons.Elder Stuart J. stu letter

hey yall this is Elder Stuart J. Denny. how is everything going in that fine state of Utah. I hope that all is going well for you and that you are all finding Joy in your life. If there is anything thati can do for any of you please feel free to ask. I know that i can't do much but I can write people who might need to be cheered up. so if there is anything that i can write to anyone about just let me know. so Vermont, not much is going on in this rinky dink town of Middleburry. oh one thing there is going to be a baptism on October 8th. Her name is Kayla she is sixteen, and she is doing great she is showing so much faith and is just progressing like i wish everyone that i came into contact would. News from me let's see i'm not sleeping. (that's not really news though) i'm reading a lot more than i think i've ever done in my entire life. and it's gotten t o the point that i'm reading for more than the fact that i can't sleep at night. i'm actually enjoying reading. i like getting new information ;that i can use in teaching or just so that i know for my benifit. so that is always good. right now with Investigators we have some but not a whole lot. we are really struggling to get them to keep there comitments to us. so they aren't really progressing yet but i'm sure they will be soon. Yesterday we went tracting and found some people that i think will be good in the near future. they didn't set up a time for us to come back quite yet however, they were really interested and i know that they felt the spirit. so that is always a good thing. oh Mom mentioned fall to me yes fall is here. she said that it's pretty cold there well just so you know it can't be colder than it is here. Last week i could see my breathe. that''s crazy i'm not suppose to see my breathe till at least november. the colors aren't quite here but yes your right they are well on there way. i think it'll just be a week or two and they'll all be burning up the mountain with vibrant colors. the only thing that i think will stop that is we are so far having a pretty moist fall and if it doesn't dry out soon i'm not sure how the colors will be. Personally i'm praying for no rain. Anyway that is all for now there really isn't a lot going on. oh yes i did get my contacts thank you thank you thank you so much. i can see it is a great thing. and i am in a lot less pain now as well so thank you mother. the only thing is i know i should have told you this before you sent a package cuz now it'll be just more money. but i'm going to be sending you my short sleeve shirts in a little bit and i'm going to need like two or three long sleeves for the winter i know i'm going to freeze. so i'll get you my size of preferance in a little bit until then don't worry about getting them until i send you my other ones home. so ya that is all that is going on in the life of a missionary in Vermont. oh wait one more thing that yall can look forward to is i'm going to send you all some pure, true, real Maple Syrup from Vermont. there isn't any syrup like this kind it is amazingly different. so get ready to treat your taste buds to some waffles and pancakes. But i think that this time that is all i have to say. you all rock my socks off you are all wonderful and i thank you for all that you do for me i love you all and pray for you continually. Love , Elder Stuart J. Denny

elder denny

Well, this last week has been one of the worse weeks ever, i have been sick all week. i called the mission doctor and he says that I have strep throat and it really stinks, but he is getting me some kind of medicine and hopefully i'll be all fixed up in ten days (that's what he says).
the dentist went well he filled the hole for free as you all know, the lord is definitely watching over his missionaries. the dentist isn't even a member. so i sent him a thank you card in the mail the other day.
oh did i tell you all that i saw a bear the other day it was great! me and elder wing were driving back from an appointment, driving down this back country road, i said to Elder wing "wouldn't that be sweet if we saw a moose right now" he's like ya that would be so cool. so we came around the bend. and what did we see. "pop corn popping on the appricote tree" nope. we saw a Bear walking down the side of the road. as soon as he saw the car it took off crossing the road and then running down this hill out of sight. i can't beleive it i didn't even get it on camera.
Good News---- Yesterday (sunday) we had 6 people in Sacrement, and after words we went over to one of their house's and she told us very bluntly "okay, i want to be a member what do i need to do" we had only taught her one lesson. sweet. so now we met with her mom since she is only 16. and now we are going to teach her mom and i think that her mom is going to be getting baptized with her. so i'm pretty excited about that.
oh by the way DAD you haven't sent me pictures of your new truck or your new Van. i want to see them. also some pictures of the new trailor. In the Video i couldn't see a thing. i'm going to be sending my camera card home to you all soon. it is almost full of pictures really good pictures. you all should be excited.
Sleeping is going really crappy that Meletonin isn't doing a thing for me anymore. i think that my body has become immune to it. also i've tried SleepInAll and it doens't work. also i tried NyQuil and not even three of them did anything to me. so i don't know what to do i've tried everything i just can't sleep. this is getting out of control and rediculous. it's making me drag throughout the day. and making my mind really hard to function.
I got a phone call this morning saying that i'm going to be speaking at Zone Conference i'm not to excited about that. but i guess i'll learn something from doing it. i don't know why they are having me. i'm really nervous the President will be there and everything. i'm speaking on "how having members at appointments brings the spirit of conversion more strongly" Well that's all for now, i better get off to doing laundry and all my other P-day stuffs.I love you all and hope everything is going well I keep you all in my Prayers.Elder Stuart J. Denny

stu's being transferred

hello Mother, it was really great to hear from you, i'm glad that you got to go to the manti temple that would have been so much fun. i am really missing the temple since now as a missionary in this mission we don't get to go at all the closest one would be the bosten temple which really is only like an hour away but it is still out of our mission area. i heard that they take all of the missionaries to that temple the day before they get sent home so i guess i'll get to go one of these days. well this week was a pretty good one we had lots of new and lots of progressing investigators. me and elder kerby have been having lots of fun and have been getting along quite well lately. which kinda comes as a shock because last night was transfer calls which is where the mission president calls us and lets us know if we are leaving the area or not and guess what I GOT THE CALL that's right tomorrow at this time 11:00 i'lll be in a new area with some other weird random person who I have no idea they don't ever tell us who we are going or where they just say pack your bags we'll meet everyone in a chapel in manchester New Hampshire, and there they have a power point program up on a projection screen and they let us know then where and with who we are going. so right now i'm wicked tired because i stayed up till 12:30 packing and now today i'm going to be spending this day saying good bye to all those that i have grown to love over the last couple months. i'm kinda sad cuz i don't feel like i've done everything that I needed to do here but i'm sure that the lord has a need and a work for me elsewhere. there are still a lot of investigators that i really wanted to see enter into the waters of baptism. but again i'm sure someone is waiting to hear the gospel from me some other place. so tomorrow when i find out my new address i'll try to write a lettter to you and let ya know where it is that i'm gonna be. oh by the way thank you very very much mother for all of the little treats you sent and also the video i loved it. it was amazing to see all the family some looked the same but for example Brayden looks sounds and the feeling i get when i listen to him is totally different from what it use to be when i was still home. well anyways i better get going i still have a lot to do today before i leave.so i love you so much and I thank you for all that you do for me. you are the bomb.com (that little saying i got from Nate i really liked it.)Love you all,Elder Stuart J. Denny

stuarts august 1 letter

hello everyone how is everything going back at home? i heard that the robinson family campout went really well. oh by the way i moved i don't know if i told you that. my new address is33 prescott street Apartment #6Sanford, Maine 04073so if you want to send me anything that would be where you would have to send it. well this sunday i was a little bit disappointed me and elder kerby worked our tails off so that we could get 20 investigators to church on sunday. we had all of them comitted to coming. we even called them on saturday night and some on sunday morning just to confirm that they were coming and that they didn't need a ride. all of them said they would be there and we were only able to get 1/4th of them there. that's right only 5 people came, which i guess is still pretty good but i really wanted 20 to come. i guess we'll just have to invite 80 investigators to come and myabe we'll get 1/4th and then 20 will come. (see i can even do math better here ha ha ha ) Me and elder kerby set a goal for the month of August to get 9 baptisms this month. we already have invited 4 and one has comitted the others are praying and pondering, which is good but i know they know it's true they should just commit. we are teaching quite a bit, the lord is really providing people for us to teach. every sunday we report weekly numbers and we add up all of our lessons taught and people contacted throughout the week. before, me and elder kerby were teaching 5 lessons a day or so. which added up to be about 20-24 lessons a week. this week we have really been trying to work really really hard, and so as a result of our hard work and the lord we taught 46 lessons, which is almost unheard of. we taught more lessons than the entire district. i think this might sound a little boastful and i appologize i hope it doesn't come across that way. we contacted 145 people this week. we got into this "bash" with a catholic preist and elder kerby and i confounded him and he walked away saying maybe mine is true maybe yours is,and we said if you aren't totally 100 % positive that your church is true then it's not. cuz i know the church of Jesus Christ of LDS is the true gospel on this earth. and he just walked away. i was so scared and nervous the whole time we were in a little "bash". i found out one thing though, i hate to bash. i think that they are so stinkin' stupid. nothing gets accomplished. yesterday i spoke in church and actually all 4 of us missionaries spoke. and everyone did a really good job. in fact all the members said they wished that the missionaries could speak every week because when the missionaries speak the spirit is the strongest and they actually learn something. so that was really fun.well i best get going i need to go do some laundry and some shopping.i hope that everything is going great for all of you. i love you all . and i am so excited to hear from you ALL. oh by the way dad don't tell me your excited to see me in 20 months it makes me trunky. ha ha ha i can't believe that it's already 1/8th over, i just now realize that i don't have a lot of time here and i better get working harder there is so much to do.ok, i'm out of here i love you allElder Stuart J. stu's letter for the week

here's Elder Denny's letter for the week. I also e-mail it to many in case they don't look at the blog. thanks for all your support. Dave

how is everything going in Layton. i hope all is well. because everything here in maine is going great. this last week we had 4 baptisms it was great we had two on tuesday and two on thursday. they were really cool and it was great to be involved in that. I performed 3 out of the 4 and a man in the ward performed the other. it was AMAZING. we are trying to find more people now i think that we are going to have some more here really soon the lord is really blessing this town and is really blessing us i see really great things that are about to happen here. Me and elder Kerby are getting along great every now and then we have some down spots but that's just normal. oh by the way no i didn't get transfered i'm staying here in sanford however, Elder Grote did so i'm very very upset i really liked him but transfers have to happen.one thing that i'm getting really frustrated with is the weather because it is so humid i never feel clean. even after i get out of the shower and get dressed i still just feel grose it is really crapppy. I can't believe that you are rubbing in the whole waverunning thing you know i miss that and i loved and you and Aaron both told me about it ahhhh!! i miss it a lot. but it is good to hear that you all are having fun. it just sucks i miss you all so much. especially Brayden. he's the man. the people here in the Sanford ward are so nice it is gonna be really hard to leave here the people are great . oh remember that guy who trains dogs that only has one leg. well this last week he got his prosthetic leg and he is starting to walk it was amazing to see a grown man try to learn how to walk again. it was pretty cool cuz i've grown pretty close to him.well i best go now i'm gonna send you all some hand written letters this week i promisei love you all and miss you all so muchElder Stuart J. stu's letter

hey dad how is everything going. that's sweet that you got your truck did you take any pictures of it. if so i would like some so i can show everyone what kinds of trucks i use to operate and stuff.so do you all have like tons of work or something is that why your buying a new tv van did you sale the seal van. and then another in January huh. that's sweet. i'm proud of you dad for building such a good buisness all on your own and for it being a successful one.so what did you think about the video camera thing i really want one so that i don't have to borrow other peoples that had to buy them. and then brayden will have one to use when he gets out maybe he'll just want to go half on it with me. let me know what you want to do i'll pretty much do anything.well everything here is looking up we have 4 baptisms this week we have two on tuesday the 12th and then 2 more on thursday the 14th. so i'm way excited i'm gonna perform three out of four so i'm so nervous but also at the same time very excited. the lord is blessing us i think because of last week the one girl who skipped out. well i'm staying healthy i try to eat right and i am continually excercizing not because i'm getting fat but i just don't want to start getting fat. good plan huh?me and my comp are doing pretty good at getting along with eachother. our numbers were a little down this week but we made a goal to double them this week.a week from tomorrow are transfers already this one flew by. i personally think that i'm going to stay again and elder kerby is going somewhere else. i don't know why but i think i'm staying here. so i'm not to worried.i had a really good experience the other day. i was on the phone with a born again christian and she was trying to argue with me about the trinity. finally i just commited her to pray about it and she said that she would as long as i would commit to know if there really was a trinity so i agreed.so, i did commit to her that i would pray about it and i know that i would want her to pray about what i asked her to so i did i prayed that i would have the truth shown to me whether or not the trinity was tru or false. well i didn't have like a vision. i was asleep. so i got my answer in a dream. and in my dream i was sitting in front of President Gordon B Hinckley and the first presidency. and they all told me that they knew for a fact that the trinity was false that they all had seen Christ and got standing next to eachother. and the dream ended . i didn't realize that i got my answer until i was in the shower that morning . it dawned on me i got so excited. so i knew that prayer was real and i knew that prayers were answered because i've had many prayers answered but this time it was just in a really different cool way that my prayer was answered.well i best be going i have some work to do.i Love you all and hope everything is doing great.Love Elder Stuart J. DennyP.s. Brayden i wrote you back so write me another letter or else......Nate will hurt you.

stuarts july 5th letter

Here's stusrts letter from july 5th -
Well how was everyones 4th of july i hope everything went well. my 4th was alright as you all know we can't stay out late to watch them. however, we live right next to this lake and they shot the fireworks right off of this barge and so we were able to see them from our apartment. they weren't nearly as good as Laytons but they were cool. about the Baptism on saturday or should i say the lack of baptism. everything was set to go we filled the font everyone was there the prelude music was playing but we still didn't have anyone to dunk! that's right she stood us up. which was really upsetting. we weren't able to hear from her until the 4th. she had some excuse but i thought she could have at least called she is still very interested and is most likely going to be baptized on the 14th with the boy named eddie and a lady named Diane. so we are pretty excited to get three in week.
sounds like the trek was fun i know that i enjoyed it when i went. for the 4th i forgot to mention we had six of us missionaries walk in the parade with our ward they had a float. and so we got a lot of possitive contacts. and it was a lot of fun. i didn't get the camera card. i'll go back to the apartment and check again but no i haven't gotten it. thank you so so so much for my two packages the 4th of july stuff was very fun. mom sorry about the birthday card i couldn't remember which 25th it was on but now i know june and july are so similar i just don't ever know. well i'm off i hope i answered everything you asked and i hope that i addressed everything that i needed to but i gotta go do some good.i love you all and thank you all for your supportLoveElder Stuart J. A letter from Elder Stuart Denny

hey family and everyone else that is going to be reading this little letter
of mine. so far I am in Sanford, Maine. it's not really a big city but it
has a lot of potential. i absolutely love it here though there is a lot of
nice people but there are many rude people as well. so have you sold my
truck yet. i hope so. how has everything been going at home Brayden are
you going to the morp dance or what when are you going to write me. anyway
it has been raining for a long time now and quite frankly i'm getting sick
of it but i guess i'll get over it you know. everything here is still dead
the trees bushes and stuff but since all of this rain has been comming i
think that we will be able to get some green stuff soon and start to have
this place looking beautiful. there is a lot of trees and forests. it
rocks the ward here is tiny but they are all very missionairy minded.
infact they even have there own white ward missionairy handbook. like the
one that they give us for our missions they have one for the ward because
every member is a missionairy. we are getting a lot of meals here infact
most nights we are gone at different homes. today we even had an elderly
couple make us a sweet breakfast. there are four elders in this area
however we don't live in the same apartment. they are elder grote. elder
jensen . and my comp elder scoll. and me . they are a great group of guys
we all get a long great i sent a letter home to you today so you'll get it
soon in the letter i told you about some people who are in my ward here
that are going to be in Layton at our stake center this saturday for their
grandsons baptism I gave them your address and they are going to be dropping
in. they said that if there is anything that you would like to send out to
me that they would be more than happy to bring it out to me. so find me
something good I don't know if i need anything but anything you feel that i
am in need of would be great. well i am alive and loving my mission. but
that's all i have to say for now. I hope that all of you are having fun i
hope that you are praying for me i'm praying for you, oh ya we are having
lots of success.
I love you all.
