Draper April Birthdays

We celebrated a couple of April birthdays in our family. (Blake, Easton, Kenzie, and Clayton) We missed having Jessie and Laynee there but managed to eat plenty of food without them.

We Are Thanksful for Our Family!

Sorry some of these aren't the greatest photos. Those flourescent lights in the room at Legacy were not getting along too well with my camera flash. I did do some spot editing to try to remove Dad's bruise the best I could. I really need a Speedlite flash for these kinds of things!

Free 5x7

We went to the mall the other day and were approached by Kiddie Kandids asking if we wanted a free 5x7. Heath asked, "What's the catch?" There was no catch they were just training new hires. Well, they actually had to take single pictures of all the kids and by the time we got around to the free 5x7 this is what we got. Hilarious!

Dad's/Grandpa's Luau at Legacy

These are the people and Kelly (taking pic) who went to it. They had some good food and fun entertainment.
Thought it would be fun for all to see Dad at the Luau. We managed to talk him into coming down for dinner.
Dad doesn't look that happy, but I do think he enjoyed it. Several people there enjoyed seeing Dad come out of his room..

Sophie also went up on stage and did the poi balls(don't know the name) for a whole song.....she was so cute, but I didn't get a picture. Heather, post a picture if you have one.

Ps. Kelly and I will be gone Sept. 30-Oct 5....I am sure Grandpa would love company from anyone during this time especially.

Pay attention. Well I was thinking about it, and your birthday and all, and if I recall, I shared my cake with you last year. Remember? I actually gave you the biggest piece. I love squishing those frosting flowers between my fingers and then licking---Shhh, somebody's coming. Act like you're just sitting here chilling.

Kristen's Wedding Photos - Laynee, Jaxon, and Bridger, Hudson

I have quite a few photos from the wedding, so I'm going to post them a few at a time so it doesn't take too long to load for those who don't have a very fast computer.

Bridger is a smidger older.

Two Bridgers. One slightly older than the other. On the top is Jim Bridger who is credited with discovering the Great Salt Lake. That's quite an accomplishment. And on the bottom is Bridger Bateman who is credited with discovering that if you stare directly into the camera it makes your cheeks look incredibly squeezable. We're thankful for both Bridgers, but especially the bottom one today, as it's his birthday. We hope you discover a LOT of fun on your birthday Bridger. We love you.

Cousins

Rand's comment on cousins got me to thinking how thankful I am that my kids have cousins to hang out with. We just went to the zoo and it's nice to have cousins to go with. Here's a picture of the cute little buggers. I also have to share my favorite picture of the day. Here's to cousins...
P.S. Bridger, you are not allowed to wear your Red Sox shirt for the next week.

Happy Tons of Birthdays

Us Drapers just finished celebrating a ton of October birthdays. Becca will have to post some pictures of Hudson's blessing, but here's some pictures from the celebration:

BRING ME CAKE! I want to squish my fingers in it and then smear them all over my face. And my dress. And my Mom's face. And any face that happens to be saying "Ahhhhh BOO!" to me. Bridger's 1st Haircut!

He was so good! He didn't even cry the whole time! He just sat and let Grandma give him a buzz!!

The Batemans

I just thought I'd give you a quick update on the Bateman family. We are all doing great. Bridger and I just returned from an excellent visit to Kansas City, MO & McPherson Kansas to visit Nicole and Emily and their families. My mom, Jenn, Becca, & Jaxon also went. It was a lot of fun. Bridger is getting bigger and bigger by the minute and has been such a fun little boy. Danen is still enjoying his job and we are both excited about some family camping trips this summer. We love you all! It has been way too long since we were able to see anyone in the Denny family so we hope to be able to see you all soon!!!
