HAPPY 27th BIRTHDAY MATT

Just wanted to send birthday greetings out to Matt today!  Wow! 27???? I remember when he decided to take his sweet time (32 hours) to join our family!  And ever since then, it has been such a joy to be in his life!  Many great memories are running through my mind today... "Mom.  Don't worry but I'm on way to the hospital.  I crashed, but I'm ok.  I'll call you from the ER if I need anything."  "Mom. I made the basketball team.  As the manager.  Everybody calls me Bugar.  Will you sew that on my letter jacket?"  "Sorry I made you come to the hospital (again), I almost did it: a handstand on the little trick bike."  "Mom.  I'm joing the military.  The Marines.  I want to be first ones in and last ones out."  (I smiled and said that's great - but my little world was spinning.)  "Mom.  I want you to go meet this girl that I really, really like!"  "Mom.  I love you.  You are the best mom in the world.  Thanks for supporting all my decisions."

Yep Matt, it's been an amazing 27 years, and I know there are many more to come!!!!  Have a GREAT GREAT birthday.  I know we haven't shared a bd with you in many, many years - and sorry we couldn't make it this year!  Maybe next!
